The Mercedes Viano FUN is many things at once: it has the lightness of a car and the comfort of a van. It is not difficult to manoeuvre or park; it fits into any standard parking space and is also equipped with a parking assistance system.
So it’s easy to drive and park!

It’s a versatile vehicle, as it can look elegant on the outside, whilst inside it offers plenty of space to relax, transforming into a small lounge with swivel seats and a coffee table. Or into a comfortable and spacious 160 x 200 bedroom – the same dimensions as a standard bed at home: in fact, the seats fold down to form a comfortable sleeping area with a soft mattress.

It is fitted with a kitchen at the rear: a gas hob and a sink. There is an electric shower, which also features a quick-closing curtain to ensure privacy whilst showering outdoors, getting changed or setting up a makeshift bathroom.

It is fitted with a toilet/waste bin. You will need to dispose of the waste bags where permitted.
Optionally, it can include a chemical toilet, although this requires maintenance, incurs an additional cost and must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered.

Where permitted, it offers the option of two chairs and an outdoor table. The table needn’t even touch the ground if you leave everything in the boot, thanks to its sliding mechanism: this is safer when eating on the go and allows you to enjoy the natural shade provided by the boot lid, which remains open.

Car radio with GPS, Android and iPhone Bluetooth, connected to the first battery, to be used exclusively whilst driving so as not to drain the starter battery.

Second 12 V and 220 V battery for use when the vehicle is stationary. Tablets and mobile phones can also be connected.

The pick-up point is really easy to get to, as there’s a direct bus from the airport that takes half an hour and costs €2.90. There are also buses from the Balearia and Fred Olsen ferry companies: get off at Parque Santa Catalina on both routes and walk for 3 minutes.

You are responsible for your driving, where you camp, your rubbish, looking after the equipment properly and following the rules: anyone breaking the rules will be held liable.

You may only camp in areas where it is permitted. Check guidebooks and the local council’s official website online.
When the road is closed, park as you would a normal car, in accordance with the Highway Code.
Never exceed 110 km/h on the motorway or 90 km/h on signposted sections.
Obey the Highway Code at all times.
Obey the Civil Code and local regulations regarding sleeping, parking and camping only where permitted.

All fines will be borne by the person responsible.
